Dr. Eli Shach has an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from York University. While completing his undergraduate degree, he volunteered at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute Lyndhurst Centre, where he worked with patients to overcome the challenges of disabling injuries, illness, and other age-related health conditions. Dr. Eli’s passion for helping others led him to attend the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College to complete a Doctor of Chiropractic degree, where he graduated with clinical honours and Cum Laude. He also has a certification in contemporary medical acupuncture from McMaster University. Dr. Eli uses a variety of techniques to cater to each of his patient’s needs. This is accomplished through the integration of manual manipulation, activator technique, patient education, neurofunctional acupuncture, and active rehabilitation exercises. On his off time, you can see Dr. Eli on the hiking trails with his wife Jessica and his furry goldendoodle Joey, or training for half-marathons.

My journey into functional medicine began with the health challenges that I faced with my daughter. She had constant stomach aches as a child and all of the medical treatments and drugs that were given did nothing to find the cause or give her any relief. She reacted to any sugar, to many foods and her health was deteriorating. The return of health came with specific dietary changes, and targeted supplementation. Becoming a Functional Medicine Practitioner helped me to understand what was causing her stomach problems and gave me the tools to find the resolution without drugs or surgery.
If you want to lose weight, belly fat, improve the immune function, have hormone dysfunction, and improve overall health then you owe it to yourself to discuss your case with Dr. Snider. Consultations are complimentary.
